In a Facebook post last Tuesday, the celebrity recalled how her friend was allegedly threatened by the mayor’s son, Miguel.
“Throwback to the feelings when your son shot my barkada’s digital
cam, hung it on her gate and threatened us with a text message; the next
time this happens, the bullet goes through your head. Pag chur Tomas
oi,” read a portion of Adarna’s post.
Photos of the digital camera and the text message were also posted on the comment section.
Adarna’s post garnered several likes and reactions from netizens.
However, as of yesterday, it was removed already.
When sought for comment on the matter, Osmeña said that if his son
had done something wrong, let a complaint be filed against him.
“My son has been the son of the mayor. For over 20 years, he doesn’t
have any bodyguard, he doesn’t have a City Hall vehicle. Put him under
scrutiny. It doesn’t mean that Adarna is entitled to abuse,” said
Osmeña.
He said no complaint had been filed after the incident, which happened in 2009.
It was only several days after the incident and when Miguel left for
the United States when Adarna’s friend reported it to the police.
During that time, Osmeña said he was even willing to go on leave if
there was a case filed, so the invitation would not be influenced.
Miguel supported the statement of his father.
In a Facebook post using the account of his wife, Ana Gabriela
Beatriz Osmeña, Miguel said he had to speak up because his father was
being attacked.
Miguel said that it is true that his wife, Bea, who was then his
girlfriend passed out in a bar after some of her classmates called him
to say her group, including Adarna, abandoned her there.
He admitted calling Adarna’s friend after the incident, but it all ended there and no camera was shot.
