BREAKING NEWS: FULL STORY: MAGNITUDE 5.1 QUAKE HITS SURIGAO DEL SUR

MANILA - A magnitude 5.1 earthquake shook Surigao del Sur on at 9:19 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The epicenter of the quake, which was tectonic in origin, was located at 22 kilometers northeast of Tandag.
Intensity II was felt in Bislig, Surigao Del Sur, while Intensity I was felt in Borongan, Eastern Samar.
Phivolcs said the quake is not expected to cause any damage, but aftershocks are expected.
