“That Winter, the
Wind Blows” is a Korean melodrama
about a man and a blind woman who don’t believe in love. Oh Soo is an orphan
who is left heartbroken later in life after his first love passes away and
comes to lead a goal-less life as a high stakes gambler. Oh Young is a lonely
heiress who feels she must look after others and herself after her parents get
divorced and she finds herself becoming visually impaired. The two will come to
find the true meaning of love after meeting each other.
That Winter, the
Wind Blows is currently airing on ABS CBN’s Primetime Bida right after “Huwag
Ka Lang Mawawala”. And if ever ABS CBN
plans to have a remake of this very successful Korean melodrama, it would be
nice if they choose Anne Curtis and Sam Milby to star in this top-billed
drama. Their fans all around the globe (including
me) would be very delighted if this request will be made possible. It has been four or five long years since their
last soap opera. Their last soap which
has been praised by both critics and viewers was Dyosa. The two are also reportedly going to be
paired in an upcoming movie “The Gifted”.
